A magnificent wedding venue set within the heart of London’s West End, 116 Pall Mall is renowned for its elegant interiors, first-class service and iconic location. It was all of this combined that made it the most delicious setting for our recent editorial, offering a stylish city contrast to the traditional country manor house. If you’re looking for a London Wedding venue, then read on!
As a Luxury Wedding Florist, I regularly venture out of the South-West to travel to the capital, adding a touch of country elegance and flower magic wherever I go. Every image captured by Charlotte Wise Photography was brimming with beauty, statement florals and a fine art feel that instantly immerses the beholder in romance. Our talented team of suppliers aimed to explore the possibilities of a central London wedding venue, incorporating romantic floral design, envy-inducing aisle style and decadent details. Not to mention the photograph opportunities just strolling through the streets of London! The editorial encompasses a light and airy photography style that works perfectly with the flowers I incorporated throughout the shoot, offering endless inspiration to couples who are seeking an elegant city affair.
116 Pall Mall is home to eight function spaces, all of which have been thoughtfully designed to embrace their historic features. To set the scene for the ceremony, we adorned the fireplace with a stunning floral arrangement, which was created using garden roses, peonies, hydrangeas, delphiniums, and mixed eucalyptus. The blooms effortlessly created a focal point for that very special ‘I Do’ moment, but I also love the idea of using the same design throughout your reception or even at your wedding breakfast. The fireplace was carefully complemented with striking ivory urn arrangements that lined the entrance of the aisle – which we then moved to the end of the table for our outdoor set-up. We opted for chic white French-style ceremony chairs (provided by London Event Hire), with a white aisle to match the urns. The overall vibe was classic and stylish without compromising on the history of the venue.
For the wedding breakfast, we crafted an intimate alfresco dining area, complete with jaw-dropping floral installations, exquisite stationery by Knock Knock Penny Studio (featuring metallic wax seals and calligraphy galore) and oodles of gilded details for a hint of luxury. The perfect ingredients for a city-chic celebration! With the grounds and gardens of 116 Pall Mall as the backdrop, the outdoor wedding breakfast felt as if you could be a million miles away from the hustle and bustle of London. A three-tier masterpiece by The Abigail Bloom Cake Company offered an edible work of art for the wedding cake, layered with ivory icing, golden leaf detailing and delicate sugar flowers.
I hope you enjoy scrolling through the dreamy images from our editorial shoot, showcasing the talents of our wonderful wedding industry as well as the magnificent setting that is 116 Pall Mall.
