A Luxury Wedding at Château Bouffémont, France

Set just outside Paris, Château Bouffémont offers an elegant setting for a destination wedding in France. Its historic architecture, light-filled interiors and beautiful grounds provide endless inspiration for considered floral design.

For this summer celebration, we created a warm palette of soft peach, ivory and white. Seasonal flowers brought softness and depth, while each arrangement was designed to complement the character of the château.

From an abundant ceremony installation to elegant reception flowers, every detail felt connected. The result was romantic and refined, with flowers that felt beautifully at home within their surroundings.

Floral Design Inspired by a French Château

When designing flowers for a destination wedding, the setting is always an important part of our creative process. Rather than creating a design that could belong anywhere, we consider the architecture, landscape and atmosphere of the venue.

At Château Bouffémont, soft peach tones were layered with ivory and white to create a warm, elegant palette. Garden roses, peonies and ranunculus brought a sense of abundance, with considered foliage adding movement and texture.

The bridal bouquet reflected this approach. Generous seasonal blooms created softness and movement, while the overall composition remained elegant and refined.

An Abundant Floral Ceremony

For the outdoor ceremony, we created a full curved floral arch to frame the couple as they exchanged their vows. Abundant seasonal flowers flowed across the structure, creating an immersive focal point within the château grounds.

Along the aisle, grounded floral meadows were placed at the base of elegant stools. This brought the flowers closer to the guests and created a sense of abundance throughout the ceremony space.

Together, the aisle flowers and curved arch created a cohesive design. Each element had impact, yet the florals remained carefully considered within the wider setting.

The effect reflected an important part of the Flourish & Grace aesthetic: the feeling of a beautifully tended garden in full bloom. Generous flowers surrounded the ceremony while remaining refined in composition.

A Warm, Romantic Summer Colour Palette

Soft peach is a beautiful choice for summer wedding flowers, particularly when layered with ivory and white. Rather than relying on one uniform shade, we used varying tones to give the arrangements greater depth.

Garden roses, peonies and ranunculus brought softness to the palette. Meanwhile, the combination of colour, texture and considered foliage allowed the designs to feel abundant without becoming overly formal.

The palette also complemented the château beautifully. Warm floral tones provided a gentle contrast against its elegant architecture and connected the outdoor ceremony with the reception inside.

Abundant Wedding Flowers with Intention

Abundance is an important part of the Flourish & Grace aesthetic, but scale is always considered in relation to the setting. Flowers should transform a space while still allowing its architecture and character to be appreciated.

At Château Bouffémont, the floral design was inspired by the feeling of a beautifully tended garden in full bloom. Generous seasonal flowers created softness and impact, while each arrangement remained refined and carefully composed.

The result was floral design that felt elegant and immersive, bringing a sense of occasion to the château while remaining perfectly at home within its surroundings.

Elegant Château Wedding Reception Flowers

Following the ceremony, the floral story continued inside Château Bouffémont for the reception.

A large footed bowl filled generously with seasonal flowers created the focal point of the table. Smaller bud vases continued the floral detail along its length, while tapered candles introduced height and warmth.

Using flowers at different scales allowed the table to feel abundant without overwhelming the dining space. It also created variation across the tablescape, encouraging the eye to move naturally between flowers, candles and place settings.

The result was intimate and elegant, with every detail contributing to the wider atmosphere of the room.

Statement Floral Urns and Wedding Cake Flowers

A pair of statement floral urns provided another layer to the design. Initially used within the reception room, they were later positioned on either side of the wedding cake.

Repurposing statement arrangements in this way allows flowers to create impact at different moments throughout a celebration. It can also help maintain a cohesive floral story as guests move between spaces.

Placed beside the cake, the abundant urn arrangements framed it beautifully and transformed the display into a focal point of its own.
