I am thrilled to share the beautiful details of Henrietta & Phil’s elegant summer wedding that took place this August at Brympton House. Opting for a timeless and classic colour palette of soft white and ivory tones with lush seasonal greenery, their day was a quintessentially English affair in a sumptuous countryside setting.
As a luxury wedding florist, it really does make my heart sing when my couples love flowers, and after chatting with Henni & Phil about their plans, I knew the florals were going to be such an important part of their day. We put together a bespoke plan for them that would capture their love of the outdoors, whilst also remaining sympathetic to the wonderful, historic architecture of the venue.
I always know that the images captured will be absolutely stunning when White Stag Wedding Photography are the couple’s wedding photographers. Their light and airy style complements a luxurious and abundant floral-filled wedding so well, and they are on hand to capture every little detail from pretty flat-lays featuring elegant stationery, to those all important emotional moments preparing for the ceremony.
Henni & Phil married in magical Castle House, a 14th century chapel just a few moments walk from the manicured gardens. We created a statement asymmetrical arch that would not only be a beautiful backdrop for their vows, but was also placed at their top table during the wedding breakfast. We focused on scent amongst the florals themselves, including garden roses, stocks and delicate, whimsical sweetpeas, alongside more statement blooms such as hydrangeas and delphiniums.
The windowsills were adorned with mixed, trailing foliage to create a romantic feel, whilst candles and bud vases added pops of colour. Pew end posies lined the aisle beautifully, and the registrar table featured a stunning floral garland display.
Following a fabulous confetti photo, guests enjoyed fizz on The Terrace in the sunshine before being treated to a delicious meal in The Salon. The tables featured bud vases in abundance, with candles lighting the surface and creating an intimate atmosphere for relaxed conversation. We placed a focal arrangement in a footed bowl in the windowsill behind the top table, a real feature and a stunning display that would be a backdrop during the speeches.
Afterwards Henni & Phil took a few precious moments for couple portraits in the grounds, soaking up the summer evening sunshine together. Their joy just radiates through these gorgeous captures!
